Alison Perisic

Natalie was previously the Executive Headteacher of two primary free schools in West London, The West London Free School Primary and The Earl's Court Free School Primary. She has been on the same journey as us in starting a school from scratch, eventually taking her first school through to an Ofsted judgement of Outstanding.

Alison joined Walthamstow Primary Academy in June 2015, three months before we opened and played a major role in developing our administration systems and structures. Previously, office manager at Coppermill Primary School, Alison is passionate that we really get to know all our families, to help us ensure that the experience we offer to children is the best it can be.

Jayde is another of our fantastic founding class teachers, and she leads Darwin Class. Jayde’s background prior to joining the staff team at Walthamstow Primary Academy was in supporting children with Special Educational Needs, and she is passionate about using this insight to ensure all our children receive the experiences and support they need to make great progress within our highly supportive environment.

Charlotte is part of the energetic Reception team, providing teaching support to both Reception Classes as well as leading her own Read Write Inc. phonics group. Incredibly dedicated to her role, Charlotte is passionate that every child is given every chance to succeed at school.

Annie has been working with children since leaving full time education and finds them a joy and inspiration. Prior to joining the staff team at Walthamstow Primary Academy, Annie was working in the independent sector teaching KS1. Annie is passionate that every child reaches their full potential and is given the opportunities and support to succeed.


Razia Saleem

Razia has joined us as Lunchtime Support Assistant and also plays a key role running intervention groups. Razia is passionate about ensuring lunch and play time are an enjoyable and a pleasant experience for the children and is tireless in her efforts to support the class teachers with their intervention groups.
Margaret has many years’ experience of supporting the children of Walthamstow Academy during the all-important lunch hour, and we are delighted that she is now also part of the primary team. Margaret’s helpful manner and gentle approach really help our children have a positive mealtime experience.
